The award was announced during the city of Sandy Springs' annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The city of Sandy Springs awarded its Humanitarian Award to a prominent member of the community during its annual Martin Luther King Day Celebration.
