Temple Sinai and UPS Team Up for CAC Food Drive

Jewish Holiday Food Drive Provides for More than 400 Families

Temple Sinai and UPS teamed up once again for the Temple's successful High Holiday Food Drive on October 12. Members of Temple Sinai generously donated to the Community Assistance Center Food Pantry more than 900 bags of food weighing more than 7,900 pounds! A team of volunteers from UPS loaded, moved and sorted the food at the pantry. The food will provide for more than 400 families! The CAC Mini Market Food Pantry provides food for 500 local families a month.

Temple Sinai and UPS have teamed up to collect and deliver food for the last several years during the Jewish high holidays in October. The Temple Sinai food drive is the largest annual food drive for the CAC Food Pantry.

Donations are accepted year round. Visit the CAC website for a list of food pantry needs.
