Thieves Steal Trailers Containing $22K In MMA Equipment: Cops
Sandy Springs police note the two trailers were parked behind Mastermind Escape Games before they disappeared in late December.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Sandy Springs police detectives are working to locate two trailers filled with $22,000 in mixed martial arts equipment that were reported stolen late last month.
Officers were dispatched on Dec. 27 to Mastermind Escape Games at 5825 Glenridge Drive and met with victim, who said he had authorization from the CEO of the business to park the trailers behind Building 4 at the location.
The victim said he hired a driver to drop off the trailers on Dec. 10. However, on Dec. 27, Mastermind Escape Games' CEO "called him, asking if he picked up the trailers, and he stated that he didn't," an incident report released by SSPD states.

The victim went to the scene and discovered both trailers were missing. Police reached out to the man hired to transport the trailers to the business, and he told police he had not moved the vehicles since dropping them off in early December, the report goes on to state.
One trailer, worth about $5,000, is described as a silver, 16-foot long 2006 LARK. The license plate for the trailer is TL6MB21. Inside the container was about $5,000 in miscellaneous equipment used by the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization for mixed martial arts matches.

The second trailer, a black 2017 EAGL Enclosed Cargo, is 24 feet long and worth about $7,000. That trailer, which bears license plate TR54R25, contained an UFC cage worth roughly $17,000.
Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta is sounding the alarm on the thefts, adding anyone who provides a tip leading to the arrest of those responsible is eligible for a $2,000 reward. Anyone with information is asked to call 404 577-TIPS (8477). Of course, all callers can remain anonymous.
