Traffic Shift Planned For GA 400 At Former Toll Plaza

The traffic shift will occur this weekend along Georgia 400 at the old toll plaza.

Staff Report

Motorists traveling through the area of the former toll plaza on Georgia 400 will experience a traffic shift this weekend into the project’s final and permanent configuration to install three travel lanes in each direction.

The lanes will be located on the inside area of the roadway, which was formerly used by vehicles going through the plaza with Cruise Cards.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down and proceed through the areas with caution while the shift is in effect.

In addition, they should continue to drive through the area carefully once the shift is complete, as work will be ongoing to remove the unnecessary pavement to the right of the lanes.
