Tribute Band To Perform Beatles Hits In Sandy Springs

Residents who are die-hard fans of The Beatles will not want to miss Sunday’s installment of Concert by the Springs.

Sunday’s free concert featuring The Return will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at Heritage Green on the Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn, which is at 6110 Bluestone Road.

The band has played thousands of shows in a variety of venues as well as at corporate events for companies such as Coca-Cola, ABC and Volkswagen International, according to its website.

The reaction when the four band members take the state is “the same every time.”

“People are amazed at how much The Return sounds and looks just like the Beatles,” the website states.

Celebrating its 19th year, the 2015 Concerts by the Springs season features five performances, offering something for all ages and audiences. The final concert will be held Sept. 6, and is slated to feature hometown favorite Banks and Shane.

Concert goers are encouraged to arrive early and picnic with family and friends, as the gates will open at 5 p.m. Blankets and coolers are welcomed; no outside tables permitted. Pets and smoking are not allowed.
