UPDATE: Police Identify Victims in Sandy Springs Double Homicide
Two men were found dead inside an apartment Sunday evening on Franklin Road. No motive has been determined in the case.
UPDATE at 10:35 a.m.: the second victim has been identified as 23-year-old Byron Caseres.
Sandy Springs police spokesperson Sgt. Ron Momon said there is no information on a suspect and a motive has not been determined. Detectives are working to develop leads in the case, he added.
UPDATE at 6:21 a.m.: one victim has been identified as 27-year-old Freddie Vega, Sandy Springs police spokesperson Sgt. Ron Momon said.

Two men have been found shot to death in an apartment unit in Sandy Springs.

The Sandy Springs Police Department is investigating the double homicide after responding to a shooting that occurred just after 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at 200 Franklin Road, said spokesperson Sgt. Ron Momon.
No information on a suspect or a motive has been determined and identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin, Momon stated.
