Two Named Posse Foundation Scholars at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School
Kenny Buckner and Khorkie Tyus will receive full-tuition, Posse scholarships for four years at Syracuse University and the College of Wooste

Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School seniors Kenny Buckner and Khorkie Tyus have been named Posse Foundation Scholars. The leadership scholarships will pay full tuition for four years. Buckner will attend Syracuse University and Tyus heads to the College of Wooster.
Tyus was recently named a Top 20 Under 20 honoree by “Atlanta INtown” magazine, and in February will receive the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouting. She is also the founder of Warm Love 4 Chemo Patients, a program in which special kits with products helpful to people undergoing chemotherapy are produced and then delivered to patients.
Buckner is active in the Horizons program, the Student Diversity Leadership Council, Model UN, and the Change a Life Club, in which students tutor primarily Latino children who are challenged in school.

The Posse Foundation, Inc., founded in 1989, selects high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential and sends them in groups, called Posses, to some of the top colleges and universities in the country. Each Posse is a multicultural team with10 members.
