UHY Principal David Barton to Speak on Compliance Demands for Corporations at Detroit SecureWorld 2013

UHY LLP Principal David Barton will speak at Detroit SecureWorld 2013 on Wednesday, October 16th on the topic of navigating the increasingly complex compliance demands facing corporations today.  The session, Compliance Convergence, will take place at 8:30 a.m. EST on Oct. 16 in room 103 at the Ford Motor Co. Conference & Event Center. In his session, Barton will cover: 

• Understanding the new and updated compliance demands, including PCI, HIPAA, Fedramp, ISO and SSAE 16 and/or SOC 2
• How to maximize compliance and minimize professional fees
• “Normalizing” the compliance process and reducing the impact of differing compliance standards
• Examples of what smart companies are doing to effectively comply
