Verizon Wireless Retailer Relocates Sandy Springs Store

Cellular Sales, the nation’s largest Verizon premium wireless retailer, is relocating its Sandy Springs store.

The company won’t be moving far from its current location at 6124 Roswell Road, however. Cellular Sales’ new location is just down the road at 6000 Roswell Road.

The new address puts the company at a more prominent location, which will be at the intersection of Roswell Road and Hammond Drive, the company said in a press release.

Cellular Sales expects the store to open the doors at its new location on Monday, June 1.

“It may seem a bit strange to move only about a quarter mile down the road, but we believe those two tenths of a mile will make a big impact for us,” said Jason Myers, regional director at Cellular Sales. “When this storefront opened up, we had to take advantage of the opportunity to put us at the corner of a busy intersection.”

Knoxville, Tenn.-based Cellular Sales is the largest independent retailer of Verizon Wireless products, with 545 stores across the U.S. and more than 4,500 employees. Founded in 1993, the company has made Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list six of the past seven years. Cellular Sales currently owns 30 stores in the Peach State.
