What's Open, Closed Christmas Week 2019 In Sandy Springs
Check for Sandy Springs services and offices that are already closed or closing early this week for Christmas.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Most services will be closed on Christmas, but Sandy Springs residents should also be aware of closures on surrounding days like Christmas Eve.
Here's a look at some of what will be open and what will be closed in Sandy Springs on and around Monday, Dec. 23, Tuesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and Wednesday, Dec. 25:
- Fulton County courts, facilities and offices will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for Christmas Eve and Christmas.
- Fulton County public safety services are available 365 days per year.
- Garbage collection depends on hauler in Sandy Springs.
- The Sandy Springs Branch will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
- Fulton County Schools are off from Dec. 23 to Jan. 2, 2020, all offices are closed. Offices reopen Jan. 3, 2020 and teachers report for a work day. Students return Jan. 6, 2020.
- Municipal offices for Sandy Springs will close at noon on Christmas Eve and be closed all of Christmas day.
- Christmas is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed. No mail will be delivered or sent. Regular business hours will resume Dec. 26.
- All banks are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
- Publix: All stores open at regular hours and close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. All stores and pharmacies will be closed on Christmas day. Store hours may vary. Locate a store near you for specific store hours.
- Kroger: All stores are open regular hours on Christmas Eve. All stores will be closed on Christmas day. Contact stores for pharmacy hours.
