What's Open, Closed in Sandy Springs on the 4th of July?

You only have a few more days to take care of business before local governments close for a 3-day weekend.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- If you're thinking about taking the rest of the week off and waiting until Monday to take care of any business you may have with your local government, then you may want to tweak that plan.

That's because city of Sandy Springs as well as Fulton County government offices will close July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

The Sandy Springs Recycling Center will also shutter its offices for the holiday. Operations for the city and county will return to normal on Tuesday, July 5.

Offices for the Fulton County School System and the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System, including the Sandy Springs branch, will also close up shop on Monday.
