What's Opened, Closed on Thanksgiving Day in Sandy Springs

As expected, you won’t be able to get any business you have with the local government out of the way on Thursday and Friday.

That’s because the city of Sandy Springs will temporarily cease operations on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. City business will return to a normal schedule on Monday, Nov. 30.
The Sandy Springs Recycling Center will also close on Thursday, but will reopen for normal hours on Friday.

Sandy Springs does not provide residential trash collection, so citizens are encouraged to contact their providers for specific schedules.
Additionally, the Sandy Springs public library branch will also be closed on both days. The facility will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Fulton County government offices will also close on Thursday and Friday.
