Sandys visited the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs March 14 and recognized three members of the club who served in World War II.
Those three members -- Milt Kassel, Carl Pirkle and Jim Paschal -- all stood with Sandys, who expressed his gratitude for their service in a war that history recognizes may have ended quite differently had Churchill not been prime minister of Great Britain at the time.
