Women Robbed After Meal At Diner: Report
The following information was obtained from an incident report released by the Sandy Springs Police Department.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- A woman reported to Sandy Springs police that she and a companion were robbed after they finished a meal at a local diner.
Officers responded to an armed robbery and kidnapping report around 9:44 p.m. Friday, May 20 at the Pointe at Canyon Ridge apartments at 8350 Roswell Road.
The woman told police she and a friend went to Sandy Springs Diner at 8612 Roswell Road to grab a bite to eat. They left the location and got into the friend's car.

That's when, the woman said, things turned dangerous when a male suspect entered the car from the rear passenger side door as they were leaving the diner.
The suspect pointed a gun to the right side of her neck and demanded they hand over their purses, cell phones and wallets, according to an incident report released by the agency. The suspect then told the women to drive to the Cascades at Morgan Falls apartment complex at 8085 Adair Lane.

Once inside the complex, the suspect exited the vehicle with the valuables and got into another vehicle. He dropped his cell phone in the process, and the victim said she was able to retrieve the device, the report states.
According to the report, Chatt Comm dispatched officers moments earlier to the area in reference to a resident hearing screams and tires squealing in the parking lot.
The suspect is described as a white male who may have been sporting a scruffy beard, a red, flannel long sleeve shirt and blue jeans at the time of the alleged robbery, the report states.
