Woodworking Store Opens Sandy Springs Location
Rockler Woodworking and Hardware will host a formal grand opening celebration of its Sandy Springs store at 6690 Roswell Road Suite 450.

Rockler Woodworking and Hardware’s new location in Sandy Springs is gearing up for a formal grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 27, with a full schedule of woodworking demonstrations, special appearances and product giveaways.
Rockler recently moved to a larger 10,000 square foot location at 6690 Roswell Road Suite 450. The larger location features an expanded selection of products, a large glass-enclosed demonstration area with ample seating for viewing in the middle of the store. Woodworkers of all ages can see first-hand how they can put the power of woodworking in their hands.

“The demonstration area has already proven to be a great draw as people can see different tools in action,” said Sandy Springs store manager John Carignan. “During our grand opening, we will showcase several interesting tools and techniques throughout the day to showcase the thrill of woodworking.”
In addition to product demonstrations, Chris Marshall, the popular Woodworker’s Journal writer and editor, will make a guest appearance at the store. Chris will hold demos throughout the day and share his insights on the growing popularity of woodworking as a hobby and for home improvement projects.
Several prizes will be given out, including the grand prize of a Jet variable speed wood lathe valued at $799.99, as well as a DeWalt gyroscopic screwdriver. Door prizes will be given out to the first 150 customers.

“The grand opening is designed as a day to celebrate both Rockler’s expanded space and the ever increasing popularity of making things by hand,” Carignan said. “More and more, people are rolling up their sleeves and making things of great utility and beauty. Woodworking has never been more popular and this store will allow greater access to see the tools and techniques that make it all happen.”
