Youth Leadership Sandy Springs Applications Now Available

Applications for the 2015-16 class of Youth Leadership Sandy Springs are now available.

The deadline to apply for the class is March 4, and applications can be obtained online.

Youth Leadership Sandy Springs is a unique leadership program for rising high school sophomores and juniors who either live or go to school in Sandy Springs.

In the program students — meeting at city hall, in courtrooms, jail, historic homes, river parks — get an up close look at the government, environment, public safety, economy and social services of Sandy Springs while learning leadership and team-building skills.

Students participate in a mock trial, practice job interviews with business executives, take the stage in improv comedy workshops and go behind the scenes at Sandy Springs City Hall.
