Youth Leadership Sandy Springs Inducts 13 Riverwood Students

They join nearly 60 other high school students in the year-long program designed to enhance and enrich their understanding of the city.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — In August, Youth Leadership Sandy Springs (YLSS) inducted 13 Riverwood International Charter School students to the 2019-20 class. Those students include Katie Abbott, Alexandra (Allie) Abbot, Alexander Garcia-Gama, Taylor Goldman, Eliza Hodges, Lily Hodges, Layann Kashlan, Rob Lindberg, Piero Maddaleni, John Mason, Max Ortson, Dillon (Charles) Proctor and Zoe Siegel. They join nearly 60 other Sandy Springs area high school students in the year-long program designed to enhance and enrich their understanding of the city.

Throughout the year, they will examine the environment, city government, non-profits, and law enforcement, as well as business and public safety.

Launched by Leadership Sandy Springs in 2011, YLSS is based on Leadership Sandy Springs’ successful 30-year-old program developing community leaders.
