Yvonne Williams Resigns as CEO of PCIDs

Williams told the Fulton and Central Perimeter CIDs that she wants to focus more on her family.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The longtime President and CEO of the Perimter Community Improvement Districts has resigned from her post.

Yvonne Williams submitted her resignation this month to the two self-faxing districts in DeKalb and Fulton counties.

In a statement to the Central Perimeter and Fulton Perimeter CIDs, Williams said it is "important that I focus on my daughter as she prepares to transition from her senior high school year to college."

Williams joined the then Central Perimeter CID in 1999, overseeing the growth and development of the
organization into two adjoining CIDs serving parts of DeKalb and Fulton counties as well as three
municipalities.

Milestones and successes of the PCIDs include Georgia’s first diverging diamond interchange at Ashford Dunwoody Road and I-285; the Perimeter Center Parkway fly-over bridge; the Hammond half-diamond and off-ramps at Georgia 400 as well as miles of new sidewalks, enhanced and improved traffic signals and directional and branding signage across the Perimeter Center sub-market.

“As we prepare to take on and support the largest transportation infrastructure project in the history of this organization, as well as within our region, we want to thank and recognize Yvonne Williams for her leadership, long tenure and service in building this organization,” said Central Perimeter CID Board Chair John Heagy in a statement.
