The broader report also details a failing score for an Atlanta bakery and a perfect score for a Sandy Springs restaurant, but Smyrna diners may be most interested in Auntie's House's progress.
3. Assurant partners with Habitat NW Metro Atlanta to help local mother (ledger-enquirer.com) — A Smyrna-based Habitat for Humanity chapter partnered with Assurant to build and dedicate a new Austell home for Dominique, a healthcare worker and mother seeking safer, more stable housing for her family. Volunteers and corporate support helped her move from an inadequate rental into an affordable home she will purchase through Habitat's homeownership program, reflecting ongoing community investment from Smyrna organizations in nearby neighborhoods.
