
The City of Snellville, Mayor Kelly D. Kautz and the Snellville Art Jurors are proud to announce long-time local artist Nedra Bailey as the next visual artist exhibiting artwork at City Hall as a continuation of the Art on the Wall at City Hall program.
The public is invited to view original works of art by Nedra Bailey during the month of August in the community room at city hall during normal business hours. In addition the public may come and meet Nedra Bailey August 6 at City Hall from 6 pm-8 pm.
Light refreshments will be provided.

Nedra specializes in pastels and watercolors and has won various awards in international and national juried art exhibits. In addition to Snellville City Hall, Nedra’s work can be seen on display in Johns Creek, Dawsonville, Buford and her Snellville home studio. Nedra has used the sale of her artwork to benefit charitable organizations such as the Southeastern Co-op and Snellville United Methodist Church.
“If there is a common theme in my work it is tranquility. Life for me seems less than tranquil so I am drawn to reproducing it in my paintings,” Nedra said.

She teaches art part-time to adults and children in her home studio. She has devoted herself to art and to helping others find hidden talents in themselves.
