Applications Sought for Snellville Christmas Parade

Applications are being accepted for the Snellville Lighted Christmas Parade.

The application deadline is Nov. 15. Applications must be sent by fax at 770-857-4570 or via by email to mc30078@gmail.com. Applications can be downloaded at www.snellvilletourism.com/events/christmas-parade-application. The website also contains full list of regulations for parade entries.

The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and precedes the Christmas Tree Lighting event on the Towne Green scheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The staging area for the parade will be the Kmart Shopping Center at Wisteria and Highway 78. Entrees must report to the parade official at 4 p.m. Entries must be present one hour prior to the start of the parade. The route will go up Wisteria Drive, make a left on North Road and then make a left on Oak Road. The walkers and people staying for event will go straight to the Green for the Tree Lighting. Others will take a left at City Hall parking lot and back out on Clower and take a right on Wisteria and back to the Kmart Shopping Center.
