Armed Robbery at Main Street Gas Station

The Shell gas station was robbed at 9 p.m. last night.

Shortly before 9 p.m., the perpetrator entered the 1984 E. Main St. Shell gas station brandishing a semi-automatic handgun with stainless steel slide and black frame.

The perpetrator ordered the attendant to open the cash register and take out the bills. When the attendant dropped the money on the floor, the perpetrator ordered the attendant to come around the counter to pick up the bills.

A witness saw the perpetrator flee the store and get into the passenger side of a dark colored mid-sized vehicle waiting on Abington Lane.

The perpetrator is a black male, 5’04 – 5’07”, 120lbs-140lbs, around 20 years old, wearing a white zip-up Hollister hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, brown and red sneakers with yellow laces, with a black bandana covering his face.
