Riding high from last year's , the Broncos have started football practice for the 2011-2012 season. 

The Class AAAAA champs start off the season with their first game against Marietta's Lassiter High on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Georgia Dome in the Corky Kell Classic.

The varsity team finished the overall 2010 season at 14-1, and its 8-AAAAA region record was 7-1. The team's one loss was against Dacula High School, with the final score 14-24. In the end the team couldn't be stopped, crushing Colquitt County in the final championship round.
