Brookwood Routs Berkmar, Will Play at Peachtree Ridge Next Week
Broncos scored 56 points in the first half in easy 71-8 win to finish the regular season.
(7-3) scored 28 points in both the first and second quarters to blow out Berkmar 71-8 Friday night at Brookwood Community Stradium.
The Broncos returned two interceptions and one punt for touchdowns in the rout.
Jamaal Cole scored three touchdowns — two runs and an interception return — and Nick Tompkins and David Renard each scored a pair of TDs.

Berkmar fell to 1-9.
Brookwood, the No. 3 seed from Region 8-AAAAA, will play at Peachtree Ridge next week in the first round of the playoffs. Peachtree Ridge, which lost 28-0 at North Gwinnett Friday, is the No. 2 seed from Region 7-AAAAA.
