Snellville Lots has been written about Snellville candidates some good some bad. A lot of comments here on Patch means people are paying attention. What this election gets down to is whether people in Snellville want their city run by independent elected officials or an outsider who does not live in the city. Don't believe it? Then why is Dwight Harrison out campaigning as hard or harder than his candidates? Why are all Harrison candidates saying they want the CID to go through Snellville? Another observation. Drive down Main Street-Highway 78. Can you find a used car lot that does not have a Sabbagh Boykin Harrison sign in front of it? Guess their vision is more used car lots for Snellville. What about Bender Howard and Witts? Signs all over. Candidates all over. Events all over. Out in public a lot. Looked hard. Can not find many skeletons. Witts tax problem old news not really tax problem. Has Oberholtzer changed sides. When he was mayor Oberholtzer enemies were Auld Kautz Sabbagh Clower Odum and their regime buddies. Now Oberholtzer supporting Sabbagh against Bender. Tuesday night forum at South Gwinnett High School is a do not miss event. Runs from 7 to 9 PM. Find out for yourself about the candidates.
