Press Release for new line dance program designed to help gwinnett county residents lead healthier active lives in 2016.

Grayson, Georgia, January 4, 2016: GC Soul Line Dance, a local Gwinnett County dance company will begin teaching Soul Line Dance classes at Lenora Park Gymnasium located in Snellville starting January 27 and Mountain Park Activity Center located in Stone Mountain starting January 28, 2016. Gaining popularity throughout major cities across the U.S., this familiar form of dancing is done to R&B or Soul music. With the first session of GC Soul Line Dance classes being so well received at Centerville Community Center this fall, founder Wanda Wilks has contracted with Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation to offer two new sessions to the company’s 2016 schedule.

The dancing for fun and fitness program is designed to help Gwinnett County resident’s lead healthier lifestyles through dance. Line dancing is low impact activity that doesn’t require any previous dance experience. It’s easy to get started, participants enjoy 60 mins of dancing fun weekly for 6 consecutive weeks and it’s affordable. Classes typically attract mostly women between the ages of 30 & 62 however, men and women as young as 18 are welcome.

GC Soul Line Dance provides an encouraging learning environment for adults of all skill levels while teaching popular and originally choreographed line dances. “I continue to hear people say how glad they are that I am bringing soul line dancing to the Gwinnett area. In just a short time, GC Soul Line Dance has already made an impact on the community, performing the City of Grayson’ Christmas in July festival, the Senior Health Fair at Bethesda Park Senior Center,” says founder Wanda Wilks.
