New London Theatre gives a sneak-preview of it's new "Broadway Bound Children's
Theatre" with a restaging of one of our favorites. With a cast consisting on of
children 16 and under, The Wizard of Oz (Junior) will give the kids a show they
can truly call their own.
Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion (who can forget the munchkins)
and all the other characters are back for this new and comical version of the
old classic tale. Dorothy Gale leaves Kansas for a magical journey through the
land of Oz. After accidentally killing one bad witch and receiving her shoes,
she and her friends avoid the other evil witch of Oz as they make their way down
the yellow brick road to the Emerald City.
Shows are May 14-22 and June 4. Saturday shows are at 11AM and 2PM. Sunday
shows at 2PM. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under.
