Family Says Missing Teen Hasn't Been Seen Since Jail Release
The South Gwinnett High School student has been missing since bailing out of jail on Thursday, May 22.
The family of a missing Snellville-area teen has hired a private investigator to help find him.
Abdilkadir Abdulkadir, a sophomore at South Gwinnett High School, has been missing since he was released from the Gwinnett County jail last week, the family told WSB-TV. The teen had been arrested by Gwinnett Schools police for possessing a small amount of marijuana an was taken to jail.
According to Gwinnett County Jail records, Abdulkadir was booked on Tuesday, May 20 and released on bail of $585 on Thursday morning, May 22. He was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

The TV station reported the family made the son stay in jail to teach him a lesson, but he was already out when they went to pick him up on Thursday.
He has hasn’t been seen or heard from since. The family hired private detective Robin Martinelli, who told WSB the teen doesn’t have a phone or ID.
