Former Shiloh Elementary Assistant Principal to lead Mason Elementary

David Jones has been named the new principal for the Peachtree Ridge cluster school.

A Gwinnett educator with 15 years of service to elementary level students has been appointed to become the new principal of Mason Elementary. Mr. David Jones, currently an assistant principal at Shiloh Elementary, will take the helm at the Peachtree Ridge Cluster elementary school in the coming weeks as veteran Principal Paula DeWeese retires at the end of the month. The Gwinnett County Board of Education approved Mr. Jones’ appointment during its monthly meeting in November.

Mr. Jones is currently a member in the 2013 Cohort of the school district’s Quality-Plus Leader Academy, Aspiring Principal Program.
