Dennis P. "Denny" Hartnett, age 64, of Snellville, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Virginia Harnett, and his twin brother, Terry Hartnett. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Deborah Wages Hartnett; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Scott Miner of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Jennifer Hartnett of Florida; step son, Lonnie Moon of Gainesville, GA; step son, James Huff of Snellville, GA; grandchildren, Chase, Kyler, Sarah, Lauren, and Mason; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Gail Hartnett of Boise, ID; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Ellan Wages of Monroe, GA; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Dennis was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. He was retired from AT&amp;T after 28 years of services. He enjoyed Nascar and Florida football. Dennis was a member of First Baptist Church Snellville. He was a loving and kind man who will be missed dearly by his family and many friends. A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Dennis Hartnett will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 3PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills MemoryGardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 5PM until 8PM, and Wednesday beginning at 2PM at the funeral home.
