Funeral Arrangements Have Been Made for Dick Hunt

Retired Lt. Col. Oveda F. (Dick) Hunt, age 92 of Snellville, GA passed away March 7, 2013.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hunt and is survived by his dear friend for many years, Betty Kitzmiller of Dacula and numerous nieces and nephews from Atlanta and Jacksonville, Flo..

Dick was a graduate of the University of Florida in 1949 and was a retired Lt. Col. Serving in the Army during WW II and the Korean Conflict.  He remained employed with the government in the transportation regiment and after retirement went to work with Bob Wood Realty.  He was an avid Florida Gator fan and an NFL fan.  Dick was a kind, loving and friendly man who never met a stranger.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Ret. Lt. Col. Oveda F. (Dick) Hunt will be held Sunday, March 10 at 2:00pm at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel.  Interment will be held at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Ret.
