Funeral Services Announced for Bobby Lee Miller

Bobby Lee Miller, Sr, age 72 of Stone Mountain, GA Passed away June 29, 2012.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude L. Miller, Sr. and Ruth Seagraves Miller, sisters, Virginia Miller, Marie McLlveen; brother, Claude L. Miller, Jr.  He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Emma Nell Miller; son, Bobby Lee Miller, Jr. and his wife, Amy; daughter, Susan Elaine Hahn and her husband, Steve; son, Bart Randall Miller and his wife, Susannah; grandchildren, Bobby Lee (Tripp) Miller, III, Lane Johnson Miller, Michael Dillon Phillips, Samantha Lea Jones, Cale Randall Miller, Micah Cole Miller, Ivy Leigh Miller; sisters, Joyce Davis and her husband Buddy, Mildred McCampbell and her husband Lester, Gayle Sumner and her husband Lem; brother, Danny Miller and his wife Brenda. 

Mr. Miller was retired from Lucent Technology after 44 years as a Telecom Engineer.  He was a graduate of Southern Technical Institute, founding member of Gwinnett Soccer Association and was instrumental with the development of the soccer fields on Cole Road in which a field bears his name “Miller Field”.  He was a Braves fan, an avid wood carver and enjoyed spending time with his loving family and many friends. 

A Funeral Service Celebrating the Life of Bobby Lee Miller, Sr. will be held Monday, July 2 at 11:00AM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel.  Interment will be held at Westview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
