Gardening Classes Offered in Snellville

Soil Basics for Vegetable Gardening: The most important component of plant growth is the soil. It provides the plants with vital nutrients and water. Having a basic understanding of soil and its role will help you have an attractive, healthy lawn and garden. The event will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 17, in the City Hall Community Room, 2342 Oak Road. The class is free, but registration is required to plan for materials. Register by Feb. 10 by emailing kgschulz@bellsouth.net.
Spring/Summer Vegetable Gardening: Learn about the many vegetables that can be grown in our area and how to care for them to produce a bountiful harvest. The event is 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 17 in the City Hall Community Room, 2342 Oak Road. The class is free, but registration is required to plan for materials.
