Have You See This Man? Thief Snatched Wallet While Woman Shopped at Kroger

Snellville Police released images from a wallet snatching reported recently at the Kroger grocery store on Scenic Highway.

Store cameras captured the suspect reaching into the purse of a woman shopper, then allegedly swiping her wallet. The images, dated July 18 just before 1 p.m., were posted on the department’s Facebook page Tuesday.

Police said the suspect followed the woman through the store before taking her wallet. She did not notice it was missing until she reached the checkout area.

Several purchases, apparently made with her credit card, were made within 30 minutes of the theft at shops and restaurants at the Shoppes at Webb Gin, police said.
