The Broncos came into Saturday's Corky Kell Classic game with the Lassiter Trojans riding a 12-game winning streak, including winning the Georgia AAAAA State Championship last year. As unlikely as it may sound, this was the first ever meeting between the two schools in football.

Brookwood took a 6-0 lead into the fourth quarter. But, the fourth quarter belonged to the Trojans, as they scored two unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter to beat Brookwood, 14-6.
