Sartain was a U.S. Army veteran and a self-employed brick mason.

JamesΒ NealΒ Sartain, 80, of Snellville, GA (formerly of Danielsville) passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Silverleaf Alzheimer's Care of Snellville.
Mr.Β SartainΒ was born in Danielsville, GA on September 18, 1933, son of the late LeeΒ SartainΒ and the late Ina Mae MartinΒ Sartain. He was a self-employed brick mason and a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.Β Mr.Β SartainΒ was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophronia CrookΒ Sartain.
Survivors include his children, JeffΒ SartainΒ of Grayson, GA and SheliaΒ SartainMcClure of Suwanee, GA; four grandchildren; and brother, MaxΒ SartainΒ of Danielsville, GA.Β Mr.Β SartainΒ is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services forΒ Mr.Β SartainΒ will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Kesler and Rev. Richard Huycke officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. The family is at their respective homes.
