Know Before You Go: Restaurant Health Inspections

Results of recent Gwinnett County restaurant inspections in Snellville by East Metro Public Health with a synopsis of deficiencies found by the inspector. These are reports over the past week.

Previous Scores: 97/A (April 14, 2011), 89/B (Nov. 9, 2010)
Deficiencies observed: Items, such as box of cups, were being stored on the floor in the back closet; employee wearing jewelry other than a plain ring while preparing food; Dumpster lid open at the time of inspection; several floor tiles were cracked or missing; and light bulb in the walk in cooler missing a protective covering.

Deficiencies observed: Two sanitizer buckets of chlorine bleach were found to be at the wrong concentration, food not properly dated and marked, and no test strips available for the chlorine sanitizer.
