Mack Clyde Weaver, 61, of Snellville

Obituary: The local family man had a generous heart and spirit.

Mack Clyde Weaver, age 61, of Snellville, passed away on October 10, 2013.

Mack was preceded in Death by his father, McCarter β€œMac” Weaver. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Lynn Weaver; Children, Lindsey, Debbie and Matthew; his mother, Marcia Weaver, Brother, Jim Weaver; Sister, Susie Kaspar as well as many loving nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Mack was born at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, LA; he attended Paris HS in Paris, Texas, lettering in 4 sports; and he attended Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, LA, on a baseball scholarship, playing baseball all 4 years. Mack was very much a family man with a generous heart and spirit. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. Mack had a great sense of humor and was known for his smile and fun loving attitude. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration honoring the life of Mack Weaver will be held at Summit Chase Country Club Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 5 p.m., on the putting green with a reception celebrating his life following the service.
