Snellville Man Killed in House Fire
Gwinnett firefighters were still on the scene Thursday afternoon.

SNELLVILLE, GA -- One person was killed in a house fire in Snellville Thursday afternoon.
Gwinnett County Fire & Emergency Services teams were still on the scene of the blaze, in the 2800 block of Esom Drive SW in Snellville.
Shortly before 3 p.m., fire officials reported there was an occupant injured in the blaze. About an hour later, Gwinnett Fire spokesman Tommy Rutledge said crews had put the fire out and found a deceased victim inside.

Other details were scarce. It was not yet known what caused the house fire, Rutledge said.
