Our latest adventure was to a home in Norcross with a bad odor in the utility and bedrooms. The owner thought it was coming from the attic. We thoroughly searched the entire attic but there was no evidence of anything up there. The next step was to check under the living space. We noticed an opening into the crawl space as we made our way to the crawl space door. The cool weather made it difficult to use our noses to follow the odor. However by checking under the house with a powerful flashlight, 'Voila' there was the culprit! A rather large opossum had gotten stuck under the house and expired there. That will make a very bad odor in your house!
Well, mystery solved. We collected the poor critter, cleaned up an deodorized the area and closed the entry hole so no more animals could have the same problem.
