Parkview Defeats South Gwinnett 20-7

South Gwinnett hosted Parkview in a game that matched South Gwinnett's strong offense against Parkview's strong defense.

Parkview prevailed 20-7.

The first half seemed to belong to South Gwinnett as the Comets dominated possession. Advances were made in inches as Parkview's defense halted the Comet's passing game. The score at the end of the first half was South Gwinnett 7, Parkview 6.

But the second half belonged to the Panthers as the defense continued to shut down the Comets and the offense found their game with standout plays by running back Chris Carson.
