But Devante James and the Generals struck when they needed.
After falling behind 13-0, James completed a 41-yard touchdown to Donald Clark and later a 17-yarder to Paul Martin in a 28-19 win over the Comets Friday night.

Clark finished six of 17 for 106 yards and two touchdowns, according to a report in the Gwinnett Daily Report.

SOUTH GWINNETT
Mason Hart, quarterback: Completed 24 for 38 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown.
L.J. Gainey, receiver: Had 12 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown.
BROOKWOOD
Zach Moon, quarterback: Completed 5 of 15 passes for 62 yards in 20-6 loss to Dacula.
Nick Thompkins, running back: Had 12 carriers for 44 yards.
Jamal Cole, running back: had nine carries for 35 yards
BJ Sammon, receiver: Three receptions for 23 yards.
Brandon Morrow, kicker: Was 2 for 3 on field goals.
