Police: Teens Removed from Home That Reeked of Feces, Urine
A Snellville couple has been charged with cruelty to children.

A Gwinnett County couple has been arrested and charged with child cruelty after police removed their two teenage sons from their unkempt home.
WSB-TV and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported their Snellville home was filled with trash, cockroaches, cat feces, urine, dirty clothes and unwashed dishes.
According to Gwinnett County jail records, Jacqueline Marie Tate and Gregory Alan Tate, both listed with a Pharrs Road addresses, are charged with felony cruelty to children. Bond was $5,700.

Jacqueline Tate was released from jail at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday; Gregory Tate was still behind bars as of 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Snellville Police said the smell in the house was difficult for detectives to stand.

One investigator told WSB the smell βjust makes you sick to your stomach.β
The county health department posted a health warning on the residence.
