Firm Buys Snellville Shopping Center

A private equity real estate firm has purchased a 70,000-square-foot shopping center in Snellville, according to a report in a Cincinnati, Ohio business journal.

Ohio-based Viking Partners, LLC purchased the Scenic Square Shopping Center, off of Scenic Highway and anchored by

Viking plans to increase occupancy and reduce overall operating expenses at the Snellville center, according to the Business Courier.

The company has a portfolio that includes properties in ten states, such as Texas, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina and Arizone. According to the Viking website, it is seeking properties for acquisition in the Midwest and Southeast.

The mission of the company "is to create wealth for investors through the acquisition and turnaround of under-performing real estate assets that have the potential to produce strong fundamental value."
