Root for Earth Week!

Root for Earth Week at The Goddard School in Snellville participates in environmentally responsible lessons and activities as a part of the nationwide school's annual Root for Earth campaign. "Goddard Schools have taken a proactive approach for years when it comes to helping the environment," said Anju Khemani, owner of a local Goddard School.

The Goddard School in Snellville is dedicated to advancing excellence in education and raising children’s performance. We promote our children to care for the earth at a young age, which helps them to continue to do so throughout their lives and create a better world for themselves and generations to follow. Community support and improvements are a vital accent to our curriculum.

Root for Earth Week has taken place at 420 Goddard School locations across the United States, with the young children taking part in hands-on activities such as upcycling artwork, garden projects and turning off all non-essential lighting on campus for one hour on Earth Day as part of "Lights Out," according to Goddard officials. This week we will be discussing the importance of our Earth and what we need to do in our community to protect it.

Our SACS CASI accredited Curriculum is designed to facilitate learning through exploration, communication, and enrichment activities. As 21st century learners our students poses the enhanced skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Our professional teachers provide hands-on activities, enabling students to make real-life connections that bring meaning and purpose to their learning.
