Save a life ... It may be your own

Free, EKG's, CPR Training , Blood Drive, 5k Fun Run / Walk

Come join us on October 10th at the Redeemer Church in Centerville where we will be hosting Have a Heart Centerville. This event promises to have something for everyone. The day kicks off with a 5k fun run and will be followed by CPR training, a blood drive, EKG’s and more. The day is free but donations will be accepted. All proceeds will go to support Pat’s Heart. Pat’s Heart is an organization whose goal is to improve the abysmally low survival rate of Sudden Cardiac arrest. They look to do so by providing free compression only CPR training and raising funds to aquire and donate AED’s into local community business’, schools and Churches.

In 2013 Patrick Spink was running with his son and fell victim to Sudden Cardiac Arrest. He is one of the less than 10% of those who survive. As a result he is on a mission to educate everyone on the importance of early life saving measures such as CPR and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
