Snellville Man Arrested for Child Porn, Exploitation

Sunil Shamji Jungawalla, of 3058 Redwood Grove Park, was arrested in late July by the Murray County Sheriff's Office.

A Snellville man has been arrested in Murray County, after traveling there to have a sexual relationship with a child, according to police.

Police identified the man as Sunil Shamji Jungawalla, 46, of 3058 Redwood Grove Park. And, according to a report from the Dalton Citizen, Jungawalla was charged on July 27 by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with computer or electronic pornography and child exploitation.

The man allegedly traveled to Murray County expecting to have sexual encounter with a child there, but when he got to the area, law enforcement officials were waiting. The Snellville man had responded to a posting on the Internet initiated by the FBI-led Northwest Georgia Safe Child Task Force, the media report said.

Jungawalla is currently at the Murray County Jail, where he was being held without bond and with an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) hold.
