Snellville Man Charged With Kidnapping, Rape

Akeem Alleyne​​​, 30, faces multiple charges in connection with the rape of a 15-year-old teen and a woman.

SNELLVILLE, GA — A Snellville man wanted in connection with the rape and sexual assault of a 15-year-old teen turned himself in Monday, according to the Gwinnett Police Department.

Akeem Alleyne, 30, is charged with kidnapping, rape on two counts, aggravated child molestation and aggravated child molestation by sodomy, police said.

The teen's mother went to the police shortly after midnight, Sept. 20, and said that her daughter had been assaulted, the release said. Police said the girl called a friend a few hours prior to say she was raped on Sept. 19.

Alleyne has been charged with an additional rape charge in connection with a second victim, who has been identified as a woman, police said.
