Snellville Resident Killed In Accident Thursday

SNELLVILLE, GA — A Snellville resident was killed Thursday in a single vehicle accident on Bells Ferry Road at Ashfern Walk at 2:46 p.m.

Darryl Wyatt, 51, was driving a Dodge Dakota while exiting the Ashfern Walk subdivision and Wyatt did not stop prior to entering the intersection with Bells Ferry Road, according to the Cherokee Sheriff's Office. The vehicle crossed over Bells Ferry Road and struck a tree where it came to rest.

Wyatt was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is conducting the investigation into the cause of the accident.
