Snellville Target Gets New Look

Target officials have announced that will be getting an upgrade that expands the grocery section and brings other upgrades.

The main focus of the remodel will be a new fresh food layout, which the company began after guest feedback and research indicated that shoppers were looking for more fresh-food items, according to a press statement.

The concept offers often-bought items, such as basic dry, dairy and frozen foods; and an array of convenience foods, such as snacks, beverages and candy. There will also be an assortment of fresh produce, fresh meat and pre-packaged baked goods.

According to the company, the new expanded fresh food concept provides shoppers with 90 percent of the food categories that are in a SuperTarget stores and about 40 percent more food offerings than a general merchandise location.

Besides a new food section, many store remodels also include: upgraded beauty department displays featuring softer lighting and interactive screens, wider aisles and lower product fixtures in the "home" department, better visibility in the baby section, and better product visibility and more seating and mirrors in the shoe section.
